The Cure for Needy Project
Our Mission
We aim to develop a web-based interface where synthetic chemists around the world can create, share, and modify cost-effective syntheses of small-molecule drugs that treat neglected tropical diseases as well as certain orphan drugs that treat less common medical conditions. We also seek to draw on the varied talents of others in the community, knowing that the development of these drugs will enable healthcare providers across the world to treat more people at lower costs, ultimately saving millions of lives.
